At the January 12, 2019 District Board, a Guide for Congregational Withdrawal was approved. While we wish to be in conversation with congregations who feel estranged from our denomination, we recognize that reconciliation is not always possible. The Guide is a way forward for the District and the Congregation.
The Truck Stop Ministry has been operating along Routes 11 & 15 since it was founded in 1985, by the vision of the Pennsylvania Council of Churches and local churches. It became an independent, non-profit organization on November 18, 2009, celebrating over 25 years of serving truck drivers through the help of Jesus Christ and our extended community.
