VERSES OF COMFORT

SALVATION
  • John 3:16-17 “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.”   (MEV)

  • John 3:36 “He who believes in the Son has eternal life. He who does not believe the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him.”

  • Ephesians 2:8-9 “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and this is not of yourselves. It is the gift of God, 9 not of works, so that no one should boast.”

  • Romans 3:23-25 “For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God, 24 being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, 25 whom God has set forth to be a propitiation through faith, in His blood, for a demonstration of His righteousness, because in His forbearance God had passed over the sins previously committed.”

  • Romans 10:9-10 “If you confess with your mouth Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved, 10 for with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”

  • Acts 4:12 “There is no salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.”

  • 1 Timothy 2:1 “Therefore I exhort first of all that you make supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings for everyone.”

  • 1 John 5:13 “I have written these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God.”

GROWTH & MATURITY
  • Romans 12:1-2 “I urge you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy, and acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service of worship. 2 Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God.”

  • Philippians 4:8 “Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honest, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue, and if there is any praise, think on these things.”

  • 2 Timothy 2:15 “Study to show yourself approved by God, a workman who need not be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”
