My name is David Ansley, and my wife Carolyn and I moved here in August 2021. We met in Fairfax, Virginia in 1991, and have been married for over 30 years. We have four children and two grandchildren. Carolyn was born and raised near Roanoke, Virginia, and is a graduate of Anderson College (Anderson, Indiana). Carolyn also works from home as a bookkeeper for a restauranteur. She serves on the Hospitality and Worship committees at Fraternity, is an active member of a quilting group, and serves on the Nominating Committee of the Virlina District. I was born in California, raised in Ohio, and lived most of my adult life in Virginia.

After working in industry in a couple different roles for about 15 years, God called me to pastoral ministry. I have been serving on staff or pastoring churches since 2001. I graduated from Anderson University School of Theology with a Master of Divinity in 2005 and was ordained in 2007. I have pastored congregations in Indiana, Virginia and now North Carolina. My hobbies include disc golf, hiking and nature photography.
