How do you foresee implementing the gifts above to the position which you are being nominated?
I will offer my commitment to serve the District Board in whatever capacity needed.

List the intercultural experiences you have been a part of during the past 5-8 years.
In the past 15 years I have participated in and/or led short-term mission trips and work camps; 4 to
Honduras, 1 to Bolivia, 4 to Kentucky and 1 to West Virginia.

List local congregational, District or National responsibilities, past or present
to which you have served or are currently serving.
Currently, I serve as church treasurer, Sunday School Superintendent, Deacon
and on the fundraising committee. I have served the District on the
Nominating and Personnel committee and the Program and Arrangements
committee in the past. I have also served as a Sunday School Teacher for both
children and adult classes in the past. I have served as District Conference
delegate in the past and was elected to be Annual Conference delegate in
2020.

Share your understanding of the relationship of the District structure with the local congregation.
The District is made up of the Brethren churches within the geographical boundaries determined as the
SO PA District. Local congregations benefit from ministerial credentialing, ministerial training, pastoral
searches and placements as well as being provided resources and workshops.

Describe the gifts God has given you to continue the work of Jesus; particularly through the position
to which you have been nominated.
I believe God has given me the gift of organizing. As a former elementary teacher, I have much
experience at gathering and processing necessary information and completing tasks to achieve goals. I
love my Lord and try to serve Him using my abilities. I also sing (soprano).

How do you foresee implementing the gifts above to the position which you are being nominated?
I believe I would be able to listen and process given information, then prayerfully discern outcomes
based on what Jesus would have us do.

List the intercultural experiences you have been a part of during the past 5-8 years.
I have attended annual conference each year for most of the past 25 years, extensively traveled
throughout the U.S. and interact frequently with my Amish neighbors.
