08 Apr More church bulletin bloopers have been added to Laughter. Such as: "The peacemaking meeting scheduled for Friday has been canceled due to a conflict."

15 Mar Mission Statements has received a submission from Mt. Pleasant COB in North Canton, Ohio.

15 Feb 2008 Atlantic Southeast District has entered into a partnership with COB-NET. Their web site at Earthlink has not had adequate updating for several years. COB-NET administrator Ron Gordon redesigned the pages and will continue to keep it updated, even though it is not under the COB-NET domain.

16 Dec More graphic Signatures have been added to Cyber Talk.

26 Sep The Literal Test Verse section of Comparing Translations has been updated to include additional information that explains the purpose of that section more clearly.

21 Sep Brethren Cookbook has been updated. Send in your favorite recipe.

05 Jul Venice Community COB is the latest congregation to take advantage of our homepage offer.

23 Jun Our main homepage at COB-NET gets a fresh new look with a larger clickable activity photo. We also added a unique spiritual background (sunset in this case) which will be periodically rotated. Complimenting this new background are special theme linking icons with a reduced opacity to permit you to enjoy that portion of the background which would normally be covered. Thank you again for making Church of the Brethren Network the success that it has become.

16 Jan Our entire Annual Conference section has been completely redesigned. Photo headers accompany each page, the AC navigation menu has been moved to the left, new documents have been added, and some out dated material has been revised.

You haven't seen anything posted here for a while but that doesn't mean that nothing is happening. Web technology is changing. 26 Jul Remembering Annual Conference at Ocean Grove, New Jersey, is an opportunity to go back in time and experience our annual meeting where it had been held seven different years. It will be nostalgic for some but interesting for all.

17 Jul Annual Conference On The Web now includes an overview of Des Moines 2006. We gave our Locations an entirely new graphic intensive look with historical notes and provided a Text-Only version for slower connections. We also installed a new drop-down menu system.

21 Apr Outdoor Ministries Association is given an entirely new look.

24 Mar Countdown form added to Annual Conference just for the novelty. It automatically displays the days, hours, minutes, and seconds until the next scheduled annual gathering.

20 Dec Two sections of Antietam have been given new material. Emancipation takes another look at the the reasons which caused the Civil War and the ramifications of its aftermath; Battle attempts to further explain why there were more casualties than any other one-day conflict.

22 Nov Our new "drop-down" menu system has proved to be so popular that we have begun placing it at the top of every page, so that you can reach the most important areas of COB-NET from one convenient spot.

05 Sep We decided to remove our introductory flash movie on its own separate page and instead place it on our main homepage.

24 Aug Navigation from our main Home Page is enhanced with a new menu system that offers greater flexibility.

31 Jul We gave Atlantic Northeast District a new look and different structure to offer quicker navigation and better presentation of district resources.

21 Jul Annual Conference receives an entirely new look, and Peoria 2005 has been added to the On The Web section.

25 Jun Annual Conference Locations receives an animated header that recounts all the recent "online" Conferences which began in 1996 at Cincinnati.

19 Jun Movie animation is being increasingly used by web developers to take visitors to the next level of web browsing. We have used such innovations sparingly but finally decided to use an interpretative Flash movie to introduce COB-NET. Our regular Index page has been renamed to Main.
