Prayers for Sympathy and Condolence

For Warren & Theresa Eshbach and their family as they mourn the death of Theresa's sister, Opal Chronister on 3/10. Opal was 86 years old and a member of the Carlisle congregation.she was responsible for helping prepare many meals at Carlisle COB for various District events. She was also president of TBH Auxiliary in the 1980's. Also remember Theresa's brother, Bob Cocklin, of the Newville COB is undergoing treatments for bladder cancer.

For Nancy Knepper, denominational Coordinator for District Ministries, whose mother, June Fike died on 3/9. June was a member of the Sebring COB, Sebring, FL.

To the Northern Ohio District whose Administrative Assistant, May Patalano of Ashland, Ohio, died on 3/6 following a short battle with cancer.

Mechanicsburg Pastor, Del Keeney, who had emergency eye surgery on 3/5for a detached retina and slight hemorrhage. Pray with the Keeney's and the Mechanicsburg sisters and brothers that no additional surgery will be necessary, and that Pastor Keeney will soon be back in the pulpit.

Continue to remember Vince & Marty Thomas in your prayers as Vince continues his battle with cancer. Vince formerly served as York First Interim Pastor.

For our denominational leaders as they receive the resignation from Jim & Pam Hardenbrook as the Lead Team of the Sudan Initiative effective 4/7. Pray for God's direction as we, the church, look where God wants us to be as a church.

For Joe & Nonie Detrick and their family as Nonie's father, Harold Bomberger, is suffering congestive heart failure, and liver cancer. He is in Hospice care.

For Robert Sollenberger, father of Nancy Heishman & Dave Sollenberger. Robert had a massive stroke and heart attack on 3/4. He is in the Hershey Medical Center. Prayers are asked for God's comfort and peace.
