        MISSION STATEMENT: Bethany Seminary as a graduate school and academy seeks to prepare people for Christian ministry and to educate those called as witnesses to the Gospel of Jesus Christ in the cities and communities of the world. Bethany's educational program bears witness to the beliefs, heritage, and practices of the Church of the Brethren in the context of the whole Christian tradition.

        The Susquehanna Valley Ministry Center in Pennsylvania is an off-site extension program for students who cannot move to Richmond, Indiana. A Partnership between Bethany and two Church of the Brethren Districts - Atlantic Northeast and Southern Pennsylvania - the Center offers a Brethren setting for studying the Bible and reflecting on faith and ministry.

        BVS is persons giving their time and skills to help a world in need. It is a way for people to work at issues greater than themselves, recognizing that their efforts may not immediately solve deep-rooted problems, but can be a part of ongoing work for justice, peace, and the integrity of creation.

        PCAP is a private, non-profit, Christian Ministry directed by a council of Trustees representing churches throughout Pennsylvania. The Ministry of PCAP is concerned with the negative impact alcohol and other drug use has on all aspects of society. PCAP is actively involved in seeking solutions to alcohol and other drug related problems by promoting action and awareness. PCAP is a grassroots organization supported by the local church and other concerned citizens across the Commonwealth. PCAP staff is available to Churches, Communities and You.
TURF: (The United Relief Fund)
        A joint effort of the Atlantic Northeast and Southern Pennsylvania Districts, is designed to enhance local congregational and agency ministries in responding to disasters within the districts. TURF recognizes three levels of response to disasters-

    Emergency survival Response
    Restorative and Preventative Response
    Disaster Network Volunteers Response
