Pastor Jim and Cathy Powers come to us from Garden City, MO.  Both are from the Mennonite tradition with sound grounding in basic beliefs and real down-to-earth and back to the Bible preaching.  Our services are happy, open, and often unstructured, with participation encouraged from everyone.

Pastor Jim's ministry is one of love and compassion for all those seeking spiritual assistance.  Because of the advanced age of most of our flock, much of his time is spent ministering to the ill and bereaved, but his evangelistic talents are also quite evident.  Several new members have been added during his tenure, even though we are a small rural church.
