EVENTS IN APRIL

	7th -- 7:15PM - 8:15PM - Steering Committee Meeting - Be prepared to review March & April agenda, review NYC goals, fund raising agenda & any new topic you wish to review. Remember it will only be an hour meeting.
	5th -- SPRING FLING at the church. See Announcement section for more details.
	18th - 20th -- SR. HIGH DISTRICT HILLTOP-- If attending, please think about "what" you wish to prepare for the Coffee House. Mina Sue will be in contact with the district on matters and will give you information as she receives.
	20th -- Junior High Youth are selling CHICKEN CORN NOODLE SOUP. Please contact our Jr. High members for orders. There is a sign-up sheet in the narthex near the secretary's window. THEY ARE TAKING ORDERS NOW!
	25th - 26th -- 30 HOUR FAMINE -- This date is being suggested as the date to plan this event. There will be a lock-in on Friday night, seniors will work on Youth Sunday items and Jr. High will be working plans for the Car Wash for May 10th. Service duties for Saturday will be announced in the bulletin at a later date -- KEEP WATCHING! Then back to the church for soup, writing in journals, etc.

ANNOUNCEMENTS

	Spring Fling Help Needed -- If any youth can assist with the Spring Fling preparations, please contact Janet Zeiters or Darlene Kiehl. Help any way you can...by donation, helping to set up or tear down and enjoy the process of serving.
	THE FLAMINGOS ARE HERE!! This fun fundraiser will benefit our National Youth Conference fund. Anyone can have a flamingo placed in someone else's yard for a $5 contribution. To rid yourself of the "flock" you may find in your yard, contact a youth to come and take them away for a $10 contribution. Then to assure that you will not be "hit" again, a $10 contribution will "buy" you "Flamingo Insurance". If anyone has questions, please contact any Youth or Youth Advisor.
	Have questions about the youth events, or ideas for future events and/or fund raisers??? Talk to Mina Sue.

Northern York County

MCOB Youth support Relay for Life! What is Relay for Life Relay is one of the many fund raising events sponsored by the American Cancer Society. The money raised by Relay gets distributed to the American Cancer Society (ACS) where they then divide it.

Coming this YEAR: Keep an eye out in the newsletter and this site for information on what we'll be up to during this coming year. Plan for youth gatherings once a month at the church, Bible Studies, retreats at Camp Eder, attending Southern PA District Youth events, Eastern Regional Youth Conference, Hilltop 2008, National Youth Conference 2010 fund raising events, Sunday school, lock-ins and so much more. If you have any ideas on events that you think would be cool to do, please let any member of the Youth Steering Committee know by emailing them or talking to them in church on Sundays. We are always looking for new ideas and things to do to help our surrounding community and show the love of Jesus to our friends and neighbors!

For the Annual Camping Trip, you MUST print off this EMERGENCY/MEDICAL FORM and Permission slip and have your parents fill it out. Remember: You MUST have this slip filled out, signed by your parents and with you when you come to the Camp ground. For any activity that we have please print out this permission slip and have it filled out for whatever activity you are coming to. For going to SERRV, Int. in New Windsor, Maryland, please bring out this form, SERRV Permission Slip, and have it filled out if you are under 18. REMEMBER: You will not be able to work if you do not have this slip. If you need to contact Traci you can phone her at home, email her or call her on her cell phone. If you don't have her numbers check the directory.
