In his ministry Jesus offered healing and new life to many.  He said, "I have come in order that you might have life - life in all its fullness (John 10:10, TEV).  Again and again we find him healing those sick in body, mind, and spirit, as well as those sick in relationship with God and with others. The Church of the Brethren, throughout its history, has sought to follow Jesus in a life of serving and compassionate love - including the ministries of holistic health and healing. God of Peace, we come before you this day seeking your healing presence. We come carrying the scars of physical and emotional abuse. We come as people who have been hurt and as people who have hurt others. Let us know and feel your peace. Heal us where we are wounded and use us as instruments of wholeness in the lives of others.
