Paul is passionate about loving God, loving others, and equipping the church to be the hands and feet of Jesus in this community. He has served as Pastor of Fraternity since January 2015. He believes that "God has been faithful to us at Fraternity for 240 years, and God is calling us to be faithful and to continue sharing the good news of Jesus with those around us."
Paul met his wife Karen in Concert Choir at Bridgewater College, and they have been married since 2004. Together they have two energetic and inquisitive children, Kaylee and Joshua. Some of Paul's hobbies are spending time with his family, playing racquetball, singing and playing guitar, landscaping, reading, and relaxing by a campfire. If you ever want to get Paul talking, ask him a question about the Love Feast (itís the topic of his book Recovering the Love Feast: Broadening Our Eucharistic Celebrations).
Paul is a native of Virginia and has a B.A. from Bridgewater College, an M.A. in Religion from Eastern Mennonite Seminary, and a Certificate of Achievement in Theological Studies from Bethany Theological Seminary.
