WE ARE...
A fellowship of believers open to all persons without regard to race, status or creed. We receive persons by letter of transfer from all Christian denominations.
A faith community which began in Germany in 1708 and moved to America in 1729.
A historical Peace church.
WE SEEK...
-
To proclaim by word and deed that Jesus Christ is Lord.
To serve our Lord and others as evidence of our faith.
To maintain an openness of caring for one another.
To share wholeheartedly in the cooperative work of all faith groups.
WE BELIEVE...
-
That God was in Jesus Christ, calling us through a new birth to receive spiritual life.
That the New Testament is our final authority for faith and practice.
In the exercise of the spiritual life in simple and disciplined living.
That we are caretakers of the earth and all of God's creation.
In no force in religion, but rather a nonviolent approach to problems in all human relationships, seeking to be peacemakers at home and abroad.
WE OBSERVE...
-
The baptism of the believer by immersion and confession of faith.
The consecration of parents and children early in the life of the child.
The remembrance of the Last Supper as proclaimed in the New Testament.
The anointing service for forgiveness of sin, strengthening of faith, and the restoration of health.
