Our twenty-three districts offer the experience of camping to individuals from any walk of life. Campers receive a taste of life in the wild plus a rich and spiritual perspective from working in harmony with others. Each facility is owned and operated by the local district and many offer "extended" activities beyond the geographical location of the camp itself. For the latest up-to-date camping information, please contact the respective administrator concerning the specific activities offered by the camping ministry of that district.
Outdoor Ministries Association is an association of persons committed to the educational ministry of each of the Brethren camps, in partnership with congregations, districts, the denomination, and ecumenical groups. Additionally, OMA supports the total ministry of the church including education, evangelism, peace education, and stewardship of all resources. Special grants are made available to camps for projects that cherish God's creation and enhance creation education. Visit their homepage and contact them about details for this grant.
Directors and administrators, would you like a free homepage to display events, program information, announcements, schedules, registration forms, photographs or maps? Send your brochure with instructions to the following address or design your own homepage and send it to us by e-mail. To better understand this offer and our expectations, please look at the
Homepage Template which we have provided for congregational leaders who are designing their church homepage. Much of the information will also pertain to camps. Take a look at the online camps below for some ideas.
